Each tablet or sachet of PENTASA® contains
hundreds of microgranules.

Each microgranule has an ethyl cellulose
coating to control the release of mesalazine
throughout the colon.

PENTASA® features a higher percentage
of microgranules with a thicker coating,
ensuring that most of the mesalzine is
consistently delivered to the colon, ensuring
efficacy in ulcerative colitis, including
left-sided disease.
