Lutigest® helps to get your womb ready for an embryo to be implanted. It can also help your womb to maintain a pregnancy in the early stages.
Your clinic will provide you with personalised advice on when to use your Lutigest® – it is commonly taken starting from the day of egg retrieval and for thirty days after, if pregnancy is confirmed.
Lutigest® is taken in the form of a tablet that you place into your vagina three times a day. You can use the applicator provided to help with the placing of the tablet in the vagina.

Wash your hands. Unwrap the applicator.
Put one tablet in the end of the applicator – it should fit nice and snugly.
Gently insert the applicator with tablet well into the vagina – this can be done while standing, sitting or lying on your back with knees bent.
Push the plunger right into the applicator tube to release the tablet.
Remember to wash your hands.
If you have been provided with 1 applicator, after each use, rinse it thoroughly in warm running water, wipe dry with a soft tissue and keep the applicator for subsequent use.
